TESTIMONIALS
“Vim is the pinnacle of fitness in Jackson Hole, WY. The energy and enthusiasm the team of instructors bring is outstanding, addictive and just pure fun. Most know Vim for amazing Indoor Cycling, but there are so many different class offerings. The Row and HIIT classes are some of my favorite and are absolute butt kickers. Julie and her staff are tremendous, whether you are a beginner or a regular, the Vim team care about your goals, your wellness and well-being. Each instructor is unique and offers their own blend of music, exercises, jokes, and style. I personally am addicted to the Ride/Strength workouts, better bring a puke bucket and a good attitude!”

“Is it the camaraderie? Is it the humor? The kick-ass workouts? YES and so much more. Julie and her team are exceptional at what they do - motivate each of us to workout hard while having good form, great attitude and even better - FUN. I consider this beautiful place we call home, my outdoor playground, but it is special what I find at Vim.”

“For months, my partner tried to get to me to go to a rowing class. My brief stint in college with rowing involved large amounts of pain and suffering - no thanks! Finally, I relented - I would give it one class. Surprisingly, I found it to be a great workout without all the agony I remembered. After a couple more classes, I was hooked. The coaches are knowledgeable, nobody takes themselves too seriously, and the workouts are as hard as I want them to be. Indoor Rowing has become a perfect complement to all the leg-and-lung sports "Jackson" activities we all love. The cardio is there but maybe the best benefit is the improvement in my core strength which has helped in other sports, as well as reduced my risk of injury. It's hard to think of a better well-rounded workout than a 45 min indoor rowing class.”

“After a couple of big transitions in my personal life, I was diagnosed with clinical depression in 2017. It was a first for me, and a struggle to just get up and through my day at certain points, let alone find the motivation to do things I usually enjoyed like being outdoors. Part of my self-care homework (woo-woo, I agree) was that I had to exercise regularly at least once a week. During the fall-winter of 2017, I made a deal with myself that I'd get my butt to Vim at least one morning a week. The hardest part was just getting there some mornings, but I actually stuck with it, and it became a simple routine that was an important piece of getting me back to my more "normal" level of mental and physical fitness. This past fall and winter, I tried to get to the studio twice a week with the intention of better physical fitness, and was able to complete an early season century ride and also ATR for the second year in a row. As someone that doesn't consider myself "a joiner", I gladly consider myself a loyalist to Vim and to the instruction.”

“I have been taking classes at Vim since 2013. I love they offer the ability to get your workout in and get to the office early. The doors are always open early, things are clean, neat and operational. You need a spare water bottle, it’s there, you need 7 towels because you sweat buckets, they are there, a hanky for your runny nose, check, some disinfectant wipes to make sure your steed is doubly squeaky clean, look no further. But let’s face it, those are the basics. What sets this place apart is the instructors. Part fitness coach, part entertainer. It doesn’t matter what time of day or how many days in a row you show up, they are always there with enthusiasm and a different workout to challenge you day in and day out. You can ride your bike outside and get a workout in, sure, but if you want to work hard, be pushed and track your progress accurately with accountability, look no further. Julie and company rock it consistently. If you like indoor cycling, this is the place for you. Yes, they offer a ton of other things, but my comments are based on what I do, ride in place and this is this place for me.”

“Vim has been my home for anaerobic workouts since I discovered this gem of a fitness community in 2017. I’m stronger on my mountain bike and a faster runner because of the indoor cycling classes here, but the people- the community and the amazing instructors- are what keep me coming back (even at 5:45am!).”

“Thanks to the winter at Vim, I was able to realize the goal of riding ‘around the rock’. It was a great mental and physical journey across a beautiful landscape. With the amazing coaching, enthusiasm, and expertise at Vim, the physical component of the ride was – I wouldn’t say easy- but there was still gas in the tank at the end. Some highlights were grizzly around the Jackson Lake Dam, heavy rain at Moran Junction, running out of power on bike lights, wet roads and snow on Grassy Lake Road, bison burger at Flagg Ranch, and mild hypothermia at the end after the body stopped moving- uncontrollable teeth chattering. So much gratitude to the Vim team for helping me achieve this goal.”

“There are a lot of options for getting “exercise” in Jackson Hole, but the energetic team at Vim have created an irreplaceable fitness community! No matter how I am feeling when I walk in the door, I leave with a smile… and in need of a shower.”

“I do the morning classes for my mental health more than my physical fitness. Of course I get a great workout at every class—Julie and Jen V. are tough; and I wonder if I'll ever be strong enough to get through one of Jenny W.'s strength training workouts without have to do easier modifications. But mostly I love the classes for the community and fun. Yes, an Indoor Cycling class at 6am in the morning is fun. I always leave smiling. And sweaty.”
