THE VIM STANDARD

COVID-19 SAFETY: REVIEW PRIOR TO CLASS

Please take the time to review our current protocols designed to keep our VIM family safe and comfortable during these uncertain times. This plan builds upon VIM’s already recognized high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness – and takes them to an even higher level. All of these steps are very much worth it to share a workout with you in person!

  • Reserve your class. Currently, we are only welcoming locals only for in-person classes. If you’ve been sick, feel sick, traveled out of town in the past 2-weeks, STAY HOME!

  • To ensure the safety and experience for everyone in the room, be on time and if needed, set up equipment BEFORE the start of class.

  • Please enter VIM no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class.

  • You must wear a mask when entering and exiting VIM, moving about the studio, setting up equipment, etc and always doing our best to maintain 6+ feet. Once you have settled into your social-distanced “home base” for class (i.e. bike, mat, moving from bike to mat) and feel comfortable, masks can be removed. We are selling VIM branded masks for $8/each.

  • Hand sanitize immediately upon entering and exiting the building.

  • Change into CLEAN SHOES (no outdoor sneakers or dirty bike shoes allowed).

  • Wear your mask anytime you leave your “home-base”.

  • As always, wipe ALL equipment THOROUGHLY with our disinfectant wipes and any sweat left behind on the ground.

  • Make sure you take ALL of your belongings with you as keeping items for you to return has been shortened to just a few days.

  • Sanitize hands again on your way out.

  • To limit contact, we encourage you to bring your own mat, towel, CLEAN shoes for indoor use, CLEAN bike shoes, earplugs, Barre Socks – however, towels and the water station remain available and water can still be purchased.

  • No classes with shared equipment are offered.

  • Instructors will wear masks before / after class and if transitioning around the room.
